Relevance to the 21st Century
Shakespeare’s plays were not originally intended for an audience hundreds of years after he died. However, many of today’s society within Shakespeare’s plays contain many of the characters similar to today. Not only that, but themes are similar to today’s society such as greed, lust, love, revenge and romance. Also, simple modernization of script lyrics can make the play a very enjoyable play for today’s youth.
